Pu’er (or pu-erh) is a type of fermented dark tea produced in Yunnan province, famous worldwide for its taste complexity and potential Health Benefits.

Pu’er even has a place in medical history — in the 1970s and 80s, Yunnan tuocha was sold in French pharmacies as a health tonic. Yet far from the bitter taste of most medicines, Pu’er is better likened to a deep breath of fresh air in a springtime pine forest, after heavy rain.
